The Short Story
Hanna attended Ocean County College upon graduation from high school, where she received an Associate of Liberal Arts with high honors. From there she was accepted and dropped out from an Environmental Science program from Stockton University, and played with the idea of obtaining a Fine Arts degree. She pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kean University instead, again with high honors. Not yet ready to call her academic pursuits complete, she obtained a Master of Science in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University (again, you guessed it, with high honors) and she has devoted her mind to the love of learning, forever exploring the depths and intricacies of the human psyche and spirit.
With an unquestionable drive to apply her passion for the bigger questions of human existence, she pursued proficiency in Spirituality and Counseling in her graduate education. Additionally, she attended a myriad of electives throughout her undergraduate degrees and explored and continues to explore, her inner world in her free time. Her creative projects are centered around the big questions; why are we here and what can we do about it with the time that we have. Now, all of her academic studies and passionate pursuits of the human soul and psyche have led her to complete her first fantasy fiction manuscript, where the mythic quest meets the esoteric mystery of human potential.
By day she continues to fulfill her duty to serve others in her profession as a licensed talk therapist. By the morning light, she fulfills her creative drive, writing and connecting to the Source within her. Her ultimate goal is to share her creative projects with the greater whole in a way that is true and tender, and nothing short of poetic.
